Our Beloved Summer

What happens when two bickering ex-lovers come face to face years later, due to a documentary that they shot together in school, and it retriggers old feelings?

This story follows the lives of two people who are polar opposites in every way. When they were in school, they were forced to be part of a documentary wherein the best student and the worst student at school had to spend time together on camera. But, what started as teen rivalry, soon turned to love. Unfortunately, they broke up. Years later, they come face to face again when the same documentary maker convinces them to shoot part 2 of the documentary that they shot in high school. Even though both grew into mature adults, whenever they meet, they regressed to their childish versions. Trying to hide the past hurts and half-truths, will they get past their history and end up together?

I loved this one. This drama has a perfect angsty romance that makes you laugh and cheer for the leads at the same time. I loved the characterization and how realistic the directors showed the scenario when ex-lovers meet for the first time. The hidden emotions, the pain, the hurt and the problems that they had, all came back in full force from their past to the present. But, the most beautiful part of this story was how this childish couple learns to understand each other in spite of having a zillion fights left, right, and center. It gives us hope that what is meant to be, always finds a way. So, if you are someone who enjoys such stories, then go for it.
