Fate The Winx Saga

When a girl suddenly comes face to face with her hidden heritage and the world of magic, will she be able to survive?

This drama follows the life of a teenager who has lived her entire life thinking of herself as a normal human being. When she suddenly comes to know about her true heritage, she is flummoxed. As if learning she was a fairy wasn’t challenging enough, she is thrust into a school of magic for fairies and specialists, where nothing is what it seems like. Learning to control and channel her magic, and making new friends and enemies, will she be able to survive the school?

This was a story loosly adapted from a cartoon known as the Winx Club. There were quite a few differences between the cartoon and this drama, but frankly, I enjoyed the cartoon more. There are currently 2 seasons of this drama and I didn’t enjoy the second one as much as I did the first. Since, it always has an open ending or cliffhanger in the end, my personal recommendation is only to watch this one if that does not bother you too much. The idea of the tv series is wonderful. A school of magic where fairies and specialists learn to perform magic and use it for the good. However, there are so many sub plots which are happening left, right and center in the story, that I felt like the drama failed to be cohesive and was unable to tie all the loose ends together. So, I will leave the decision up to you. If you enjoy the shows with magic and friendship, and can handle open endings, then you can stream this one. Else, skip it!
