Blue Birthday

When a woman gets a second chance at saving her childhood love, will she succeed?

This drama follows the life of a 28-year-old woman who lost her first love and best friend when he committed suicide when they were in high school. Incidentally, she comes across a few photographs taken by him when they were young. When she accidentally burns one, and ends up getting magically teleported to her past, she tries to make the best of it. However, when she starts to realize that she might not dreaming, and that she really has in fact traveled to the past, she tries her best to save her first love from dying. As she unravels the truth behind his death, she uncovers the truth that he might not have committed suicide and his killer might be closer than she realized. How she saves him and brings the killer to justice forms the rest of the story.

The drama is quite promising, and the actors did a great job of portraying their characters. However, it starts feeling a little stuck and repetitive somewhere in the middle. Overall, though, it is a good attempt at conveying a time-traveling story with murder and madness in the background. If you enjoy such a theme with a dash of adorable romance, then you might enjoy this one!
