Mr Queen

What happens when a popular male chef gets teleported into the body of a Joseon queen back in time? Can he find a way to get back to his body and his time?

This drama is a story that focuses on the life of a talented celebrity chef who has made his entire fortune based on his culinary talent. When he suddenly gets teleported into the body of a Joseon queen back in time, he finds himself completely perplexed. Suddenly becoming the queen is a challenge in itself not just because of the change in gender and the palace politics in the backdrop of history, but also because of the king himself who seems like a total useless puppet king. As he gets to know the king better, he starts realizing that there is more to the king than what meets the eye. What the world thinks might not be who the king really is. What shocks him is that they actually fit quite well together as if parts of the same puzzle. Over time, they start forming a deeper bond, which eventually turns to love.

Frankly, I have never laughed so much in one single drama. From the moment he gets teleported into the body of the queen, all his antics to get back to his time and how he shocks all the palace staff in the process, was freaking hilarious. For me, the story didn’t go as I expected it to go from the beginning, and that very fact made this drama quite an enjoyable watch. Overall, this drama is unpredictable at times, and it works wonderfully. Give it a try! What is the harm in trying out this drama? The worst case scenario is that you might laugh your hearts out!

The originality of the plot: The plot is not too new but, it’s a hilarious watch.
