The Glory

When a woman who was bullied violently in school returns to take her revenge on them, will she succeed in regaining her glory?

This drama follows the life of a woman who was bullied very badly by a group of rich and powerful bullies when she was in high school. In fact, they burned her with an ironing rod, which left her with awful scars all over her arms and legs. However, no action was taken against them since they were rich. Thrown out of school, she has no option but to work odd jobs until she becomes capable of joining college, where she begins planning her ultimate revenge. She soon returns to the lives of the very people who bullied her. Promising herself that she would make them pay, no matter what, she begins her master plan for their destruction. Joining her in her quest for revenge is a man, who likes her in spite of everything he has gone through in his life. Will she be able to punish her bullies and get her revenge? Watch to find out.

Frankly, I had thought previously that this would be a very dark story that would leave me feeling sad afterward. But, surprisingly, that wasn’t the case. Though this story does have its darkness, it also has its light. It wasn’t just the story of revenge. It was the story of a woman who was wronged so much that revenge became her obsession. This was also the story of a mother who in spite of facing domestic violence did not lose her shine and was willing to sacrifice anything to protect her daughter. This was also the tale of a man whose entire life has been filled with emotional pain due to his father’s death but he hides his pain and need for revenge within. In fact, when he meets her, something in him recognizes the pain in her and just like the moth that is attracted to the flame that can destroy it, he is attracted to the main protagonist. I felt that the characters were so raw, and had such depth, it was a unique experience watching this story. I wouldn’t say that their relationship wasn’t toxic or that what they did wasn’t wrong, but who am I to judge? After all, is it not very easy to judge others, but will you really be any different if you were in their place? Who knows! I would say give this one a shot. You might just gain a new appreciation for your life.
