Rebirth For You

When a princess who wants to be free meets an imperial guard who wants answers from his past, will their meeting turn to love?

This drama follows the life of a princess who has lived her entire life at the imperial palace and has had to handle palace politics all her life. Though she is very intelligent, circumstances have forced her to appear clueless and non-threatening. Her only hope is to live a happy life with someone who loves her, but living in the palace seems to be an impossible dream. When she meets a man who is equally intelligent as her, she becomes intrigued. He, on the other hand, identifies her reality quite quickly. He understands that she is deeply intelligent and hopes to see if she can help him with his agenda. Will these two souls succeed in their individual goals, or will they find something more important than it all? Watch to find out!

My Review….

Though the chemistry between the leads is quite nice to watch, and the plot isn’t too bad either, I felt this story to be highly uncomfortable to watch. The beginning was good, but the more the story progressed, the more fucked up the obsession that the king and prince had towards the female protagonist became. She was treated like an object that they coveted, and everybody treated her like she had no say in her life. It was pretty suffocating to watch. Also, a secondary lead who could have been a great man turned evil midway through the plot, which ruined it further. Frankly, I found it very boring in the second half. It had unnecessary stretching in the plot and the “happy” ending didn’t seem like much in the end. If I were you, I would either skip this one or quit watching once the leads get married, because after that the story goes downhill very fast.

Story Line: 7.4/10

The originality of the plot: The plot is not too original and it’s an okay watch.

Acting of main protagonists: The chemistry between the leads is decent.
