Meteor Garden

When a poor yet hardworking girl joins a new academy and faces bullying by the most popular students, known as F4, will she be able to hold her own and fight for what she believes in?

This drama follows the life of a girl who is quite poor, but she has an iron will and is determined to win in life. When she gets the chance to go to a new academy, she is equal parts excited and terrified. However, on reaching the academy, when she has a face-off with the most popular students, infamously known as F4, things turn bad very quickly for her. Continuously fighting against constant bullying from them and the students, she still manages to hold her own. When one of them falls for her, things get even trickier. How she survives in such an environment and still manages to find love, is what forms the rest of the story.

I liked the theme of the drama, which was fighting against school bullying and standing up for what is right even if no one else stands with you. The plot highlights how popular and rich people in our world, often hold the reins and the poor or underprivileged often have to fend for themselves. The actors have done great justice to their characters. Whether it is the role of a villain, or a hero or a normal person who is both bad and good, all the characters in this story are well-thought-out. The story too keeps you hooked till the very end. If you are someone who loves watching high school love stories where the rich popular snobbish guy turns into a good guy when he falls for the poor yet brave girl, then you will definitely enjoy this one.
