Will a man on the hunt for his father’s killer meets a fearless woman with a similar agenda, will they end up together?
This drama follows the life of a woman who has trained her entire life as a disciple of Langya Pavilion which is renowned for creating masters who guide young nobels to become great. However, she has a hidden agenda. She intends to find out what happened to her brother who was abducted when she was just a child. When she finally graduates and is assigned to be the master of a young noble, she comes face to face with a man who is her completely opposite in every way or at least seems to be. However, the more they interact, the more drawn she feels to him. On the other hand, he is a man who has a alter ego which he uses to hunt down his father’s killer relentlessly. As they both try to solve their respective mysteries and stay hidden at the same time, will their disdain turn to love? Watch to find out.
Inspite of myself, I enjoyed this drama. The chemistry and the understanding between the leads were delightful. Even though the idea of maintaining the deception between romantic partners is very hard to digest, the story managed to not make it so serious. Another issue with this story is that the plot is not exactly strong. There are quite a few places where the villains and their motives are meaningless and pointless. It was more like a little larger-than-life, light-hearted tale of romance between two people who are very different from each other and like to lie their asses off in the name of protecting each other. This story is a classic case of a woman confused between choosing a man she admires for his courage and a man she dislikes but is drawn towards, not knowing that both of them are the same person. So, it depends on what you want to watch. If it is a light-hearted romance with a slightly weak plot, this story fits the bill perfectly. So, I will leave the decision about where to watch it or not, up to you.
